Organizer of the Contest 2.1. The Contest “Kifu Bonsai Awards” is organized by Gaetano Conte or a designated representative acting on his behalf (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).

Participation Requirements 3.1. The Contest is open to all adult individuals residing anywhere in the world. 3.2. Participants must be bonsai enthusiasts and have the ability to create and provide videos and photos.

Mode of Participation 4.1. Participants must visit the official website of the Contest, kifubonsaiawards.com, and follow the instructions for submitting videos and photos. 4.2. Each participant can submit two videos and one photo, which must be original works created by the participant. 4.3. The videos should have a maximum duration of 30 seconds and creatively and artistically depict bonsai. 4.4. The photo should be of high quality and aesthetically pleasing, capturing a bonsai.

Copyright 5.1. Participants retain the copyright ownership of the videos and photos submitted, but grant the Organizer the non-exclusive right to use the videos and photos for promotional and advertising purposes of the Contest without any additional compensation. 5.2. Participants guarantee that the submitted videos and photos do not violate the rights of third parties and that they have obtained all necessary authorizations for the use of images featured in the videos and photos.

Deadline and Results 6.1. The deadline for submitting videos and photos will be specified during the year on the social media of kifubonsaiawards.com and will generally correspond to the time required for the jury to evaluate the selected entries. 6.2. The results of the Contest will be announced within 15 days/one month after the deadline for the submission of entries and will be published on the official website and social media of Kifu Bonsai Awards.

Judging and Prizes 7.1. The videos and photos will be evaluated by a panel of experts selected by the Organizer. 7.2. Prizes will be awarded for the best videos and the best photo based on the element represented, artistic value, and bonsai aesthetics. 7.3. The decision of the jury will be final and binding.

Confidentiality of Personal Data 8.1. The personal data provided by the participants will be treated in accordance with privacy laws and used solely for the purposes of the Contest. 8.2.
